1) Where do we rehearse?

We rehearse on Foundry Road, Ammanford. You can park in the car park of Lidl and walk back towards the town 50yards and you'll see a brown building. This is our rehearsal room.

2) When do we rehearse?

Monday: 7:30-9:30pm

Thursday: 7:30-9:30

3) How can I book the band to play at our event?

4) Do I need an instrument to join?

We have a selection of instruments across the brass band spectrum. We are able to loan you an instrument should we have it in our stock room. Contact the band committee for more details

5) What do we play?

We play a selection of traditional brass band music as well as arrangments of popular music across the decades from all over the world. Our programmes are rich and varied.

6) I've never picked up an instrument before, can I join?

We have a junior band rehearsing on Monday evenings between 6:15-7:15 in the band room. Under the stewardship of Rhys Michael, we strive to create an inclusive, encouraging and friendly atmosphere to allow players to develop their skills right from the basis, free of charge.

Many players within the band have come through this band including our current principal cornet and euphonium. Players have gone on to forge successful futures in music as a result of tuition from this band. For more information, see the Junior Band Section of our website.
